The Man I Loved - Galleria del Jazz italiano 1946_1948

This cd has reprinted the complete series of ODEON “Jazzisti Italiani”, published only on 78 rpm, born after the radio broadcast “Galleria del Jazz” (from 1945 to 1946), conducted by Roberto Nicolosi (Genoa 1914 - Rome 1989), multi-instrumentalist, arranger and certainly one of the first italian jazz critics
Cina, Cina alias Chinatown, My Chinatown

This series, with the “I Maestri del Ritmo” series (ODEON), a dozen discs recorded between 1941 and '43, the “Italian Jazz Stars” series, recorded between 1951 and 1956 and published for the first time on 78 rpm from Columbia, and the “Jazz in Italy” (Fonit-Cetra) that produced, from 1960 to 1961, 16 EP 45 rpm and one LP, build the foundations for a Italian jazz discography.
